RSVP Events Expo, Melbourne
At EvenStar we go to great lengths to ensure that we are completely up-to-date with current event trends, and brimming with ideas for your next event.
That’s why our Proprietor, Susanne, and our On-Site Manager, Joanne, spent a couple of days in Melbourne for this national events expo to source more of the best suppliers Australia has to offer.
It proved to be a great way to get to know some fine suppliers a little better, and to gain some exciting new ideas - perhaps for your next event with EvenStar? The EvenStar Soirée
It’s time to celebrate! EvenStar Event Management was officially launched in style tonight at a stylish soirée in the heart of the city. Despite the heavy rain we have come to know and (almost) love in Newcastle, we had a spectacular turnout of dazzling guests from many businesses and cultural centres from around the city.
Loop Space on Hunter Street was transformed with luxurious violet drapes, delicious scented soy candles, and soft lighting from the exotic centrepiece from InsideOut, dripping in purple orchids from Valley Fresh Flowers. Guests arrived to the sound of sweet strings with Intermezzo String Quartet. Champagne was served by a dapper barman, and canapés were served by beautiful waitresses painted in EvenStar’s colours of purple, silver, black and white, courtesy of the incredible artists at Fairy Good.
Guests were awed and enthralled by an intimate performance by Short Back and Sides vocal quartet as they crooned a’ Capella, from modern ballads to quirky arrangements that left us laughing and cheering for more. After several encores, Susanne Daoud from EvenStar welcomed our guests and declared EvenStar Event Management officially open for business! Thanks were made to all our lovely guests, and our event’s incredible sponsors for making this evening such a delight and a resounding success.
Formalities now over with, guests laughed and chatted freely while lounging on ottomans, plucked up the courage to have their faces painted, sipped on freshly brewed Sprocket coffee, nibbled on delicious customised cupcakes by Cutecakes, and kicked up their heels to lively jazz numbers from the Preservation Jazz Band.
Many new business relationships and friendships were formed among the charming guests, and when it came time to reluctantly say goodbye and head home, all guests were treated to a gift bag filled with mementos and exclusive special from the event’s sponsors.
